Vintage metal WOODPECKER TOOTHPICK HOLDER, Pioneer Village,Minden NE, exc. color - $52 - (Hastings, NE)

Offered here is a vintage metal WOODPECKER TOOTHPICK HOLDER or DISPENSER in excellent condition. The paint is bright and the double-pronged grabber is sharp and intact (see 4th photo). This holder is unique because it was a souvenir from Harold Warp's Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska (see last photo). Pioneer Village is a museum known for it's depiction of mid-western life during the first half of the 1900s and was started by the late Harold Warp, inventor and businessman. A Pioneer Village logo, in the shape of a covered wagon, can be seen on the woodpecker's tail. I purchased this long ago at an estate sale and enjoyed it as a novelty on our kitchen table. But my wife and I are well past retirement age now, and we are downsizing. That means many of our collectibles have to go.
