EXTREMELY RARE! BRASS BACKED IRONSTONE & CELLULOID ANIMAL BROOCHES! - $75 - (Plains, GA)

This is an extremely rare lot. I have had these brooches for years...I am not young! :) But as you can see they have old style clasps and they are both brass backed. Now I have researched this style and found very few examples. The Schnauzer dog pin is made of some sort of ironstone or ceramic. It has a small brass collar and chain. Measures about 2". It has a Majolica type of finish. The little leaping deer has painted feet and ears and several rhinestones added. This little one also measures about 2". I have seen the celluloid or plastic brass-backed animals but I have NEVER seen the ceramic ones. We only accept PayPal and expect payment within 5 days after the end of the auction.
