Up for your consideration is this lot 8 of vintage Trygg style carved figurines, by Adrian Woodall, 1888 through 1969. Some are signed AW, some are not, but all came from the same estate. Black women approx. 5 1/2 × 2". Black men approx. 6x2". Man with bow tie 6 1/2×2". Butler 6 1/2×2". Horse 2 1/2 ×2 1/2". Damages: woman in yellow polka dot dress, broken and repaired foot. Farmer is missing one tine on his pitchfork. Black man in blue suit has a dry aged crack in front and back. Farmer has AW carved on base. woman in polka dot dress and man in black suit have ARW in pencil on their foot. This is the largest single collection of Adrian Woodall work that I have come across .
