Vintage Teletronix LA2A LA-2A Compressor, Leveling Amplifier - $6,000 - (Vallejo, CA)

Vintage Teletronix LA2A for sale . My research and evidence tells me the unit seems to date from between 1966 and 1969. The UTC HA100X transformer looks to have a manufacture date of 1965 .The unit came from Sorcerer Sound Studios in NYC so probably has an interesting history. There is the name AUCOUSTILOG engraved on the front bottom right (audio company connected to Sorcerer). Needs new bulb in VU meter. XLR pig tails on rear for hookup are a little worse for wear and should be replaced as needed. There's various faint pen (?) markings here and there as seen in pics ,also faint residue of markings at points on the two dials . I haven't made any serious effort to clean with any chemicals. Unit functions exactly as it should and sounds fantastic.
