Antique American Queen Anne Tiger Maple Chest on Stand Circa 1740 Description: A fine American Queen Anne tiger maple chest on stand, New England, circa 1740. The chest features dramatic wood grain, an elaborate shaped skirt, and cabriole legs with pad feet. The brasses are of the period, though there is evidence of one other set of brasses having been on the chest. It has an old refinish with nice, rich color. Secondary woods are oak and pine or fir. The chest is 58 1/2" high by 38" wide by 20" deep. Guaranteed to be as described. .
