RARE CINDERELLA #316 PARLOR/ COOK STOVE- CAST IRON- PITTSBURG STOVE CO. ~1880's - $1,000 - (New Paris, PA)
Here is a very rare Cinderella Parlor stove manufactured by the Pittsburg Stove Co. when it was still Pittsburg, PA - not Pittsburgh. This highly ornate stove is cast iron, and very heavy (approx.300 pounds). I restored this stove piece by piece about 10 years ago. It was then used as a decorative piece in a stone house built in 1769, and never used (picture #1). We sold the house a few years later and the stove has been sitting in my garage ever since. The dust was cleaned off and I freshen it up in high heat black paint. This would again make a terrific decorative piece, but would need a new gasket on the door to be functional. The boot rails and body are in perfect condition as is the sliding top which exposes the cooking surface. The legs have had past some past repairs, but have been done on the inside surface and show almost no visible signs on the outside. My wife and I have loved this stove for many years, and now it's your turn!
