This offering is for an Authentic Original Miriam Ragan (Renowned Listed Artist) "Louisiana Bayou" Oil Painting with Matching Custom Frame. The beautiful oil painting on canvas measures 18" by 24",, and framed measures 24" by 30". This exquisite painting displays the vibrant color palette used by Miriam Ragan to capture her inspirational and forbidding swamp landscapes. This one of a kind oil painting is complemented by the custom frame which mirrors the color palette used in the painting. It is signed, by the artist, on the painting and also signed and dated on the back (see pictures). Ragan had an art studio on Jackson Square, located in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Miriam Ragan was a well-respected artist who painted many Louisiana Swamp Landscapes and views in the New Orleans' French Quarter. She passed away in April of this year, leaving behind many wonderful paintings and adoring fans.
