Vintage Sterling Silver 925 Opal & Chariote Inlay Kokopelli Brooch/Pin (7g) This Navajo Sterling Silver Kokopelli pin is inlaid with a variety of beautiful stones. The Kokopelli figure is one of the most popular designs in Native American jewelry and art. Inlaid stones in this lovely pendant include: Opal and Charoite. This stunning pendant is hallmarked by the artist however I cannot decipher it. Stamped Sterling & with a hallmark I cannot decipher. The Kokopelli is a commonly recognized symbol Native American culture. He is distinguished by his hunch-back, dancing pose and flute which is said to chase away the Winter and bring about Spring. The Kokopelli is known as a symbol of fertility, a prankster, a healer and story teller. This one is comically cruising to Spring quickly via motorcycle. Unique & lovely in very nice condition (please see photos) Measures nearly 1-1/4" square. Very nice!
