Rare 1940's Autowagon Pull Car!Approx: 42"x 18"x 14"Back on Market~Was sold for $800Just Reduced!Out of US buyer ran into shipping restrictions Scary rare Autowagon made by M.B.W. Manufacturing Detroit Michigan for a very short time. This is for the serious collector. You only see a few of these a decade, but none like this. The restoration was over $400 alone per the previous owner. This is a metal pull wagon, but there may be some fiber patching on the under carriage from when the full restore was done. The entire body is very solid & looks almost new.Car is a pull wagon in pedal car style & size, but no pedals. It is kind of a crossover toy of the time. The paint is terrific with only a few minor scuffs or scratches. The under carriage is clean as well & shock/suspension system works great as does the pull lever. All the metal is in great shape. The tires are in pretty good shape as well. Some of the under carriage pictures are obviously not as smooth as the exterior, but the body is solid. They may have heavy painted over patch. But all metal areas of body attract a magnet when tested.Please review photos for your consideration. You are seeing exactly as I purchased. Only few recorded sales of one's like this. One was for $660 on eBay a while back & it was in very poor condition (see sale #331379632016), and another in the $400 range that was very rough as well.These appear to have been made for a brief time before WWII in a more basic version & then after WWII with some added minor accessories. I found an advertisement from a 1947 Toy Fair in NY (seen in picture #2) that showed a few more details than the one that sold that was listed as a 1940 Autowagon. These are so rare it is nearly impossible to find much on them, as many toy makers & other metal works companies switched to War time production from 1941-1945, none would exist from those years & any made prior may have been melted down.
