Scoopy 1 Cent 3 Product Gumball Vending Gum Machine Original A M Co. Manikin Vtg - $2,500 - (Urbana, IL)

You are looking at a vintage 1 cent 3 section scoopy gumball machine.  Seems to be all original.  Some slight rust in some ares (see photo). I tried to test the mechanisms with a penny but wasn't able to get the penny to work.  I might be doing something wrong or it might need to be full in order to work?
