ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS LOOK AND STYLE on this vintage 1970s abstract framed authentic batik & stitched framed wall art. (If you are not familiar with batik, please take the time to investigate and learn about his very labor intensive form of art.) My aunt was an artist and created fabulous works of art and this is one that she created. She published a book titled "A Study of the Buttonhole Stitch and its Application to Batik". This work is in her book and I will include copies of the pages that pertain to this work of art (see last 3 photos that explains her techniques). Very nice condition - she proudly exhibited her art work in her own personal gallery (the label on the back was from her showing in the 1970s). Ready for hanging.
