1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar PCGS Fine 15 Looks a bit better - $3,195 - (Fairport, NY)

Good wing detail and hair details for a Fine 15. Certainly approaches VF-20 in detail, but not quite. An affordable early half dollar and a good beginning to a solid Type set. My advice to collectors starting a Type set is as follows: Buy the early dates FIRST. Common Types such as Jefferson nickels, Franklin or Walking Liberty halves and Washington quarters are always available. Don't try to buy quantity. Buy quality.
