Bisque head is marked 1079 Circa 1887 GERMANY Superb quality bisque that Simon & Halbig is HALBIG known for. SH 5 PERFECT BISQUE HEAD WITH NO CHIPS HAIRLINES OR DEFECTS. PIERCED EARS WITH NO EAR HOLE CHIPS This adorable doll is between 14 1/2 - 15 " tall, and though she is not marked DEP, her large, almond shaped eyes lead one to believe that she was made for the French Market. Her sleep eyes are blue and have all the wax, plus her fabulous original mohair lashes. I have been trying to figure out if her body has been repainted. There is a light, unvarnished area on her hip which is factory stamped 0. The remainder of the body looks perfect except for a compo chip at the neck which I have photographed and a difference in color of lower legs, which is also pictured. It is somewhat of a mystery. This lovely is dressed in an antique white cotton dress, antique undies, silk socks and vintage shoes. Her hat is designer made and trimmed with antique trims. Her FACE IS AMAZING AND COMBINED WITH HER CABINET SIZE, she will be a wonderful addition to someone's collection.I am pricing her very reasonably and am INCLUDING THE STAND.
