Hmmwv , Up Armored , Door Set , M1114 , NOSHere is a complete set of Four , NOS , Up Armored , Hmmwv , M1114 , Doors as pictured , please note all the features of the doors and design. Mfg. with 1/4" military armor plate and 2" slidding armored windows.These doors are the lighter Up Armor doors which are more desirable because of several features ; the doors lighter weight , approximately 100 lbs. each as opposed to the 275-450 lbs. of the later double thick armor plate designs. The later heavy door and window designs are designed to defend against IED's which are not real threat here in the US .The windows slide left to right and not up and down . These windows being 2 inches thick as opposed to the 4 inch thick IED glass are much lighter to move . Note slidding windows left and right is much easier than lifting up and down 4" thick glass which weigh between 40-60 lbs. These windows when opened offer the same 4" protection when slid open .When just slidding rather than lifting the armored glass open is a better design for daily use.These doors are much better design for real day to day use than the heavier IED doors and they don't need any door opening assist devices.
