NICE GREENSTONE FULL GROOVE AXE. This ancient artifact is over 4.5" long, 2.5" wide, 1.5" thick, and weighs 19.5 ounces. It is made of greenstone and is in very good condition with nice surface weathering, some ancient dings and a few plow marks. It is a full groove axe, a tool that was used in everyday life thousands of years ago. I believe it is from North America, but since I obtained it from a major Sahara African dealer and there was no specific origin offered, I am presenting it as a nice stone tool and leaving the place of origin open.
