Chimu Peruvian Pre-Columbian Peru OLD Rug/Wall Hanging/Tapestry/Textile 42x60 - $1,235 - (Whittemore, MI)

There's a reason I don't buy rugs/textiles. Lack of knowledge. I have no idea what this rug is or when it's from. Based on the research I did, it seems to be from Chimu Peru. The theme is pre-columbian. It's wool and it's heavy (just under 3 pounds). It measures approximately 42" x 60" There is some age damage and someone has sewn a thin ugly green panel on the back for stability I'm assuming. I won't be removing that, I'll leave it to the new owner. Also, it smells reminiscent of a fireplace. I have no idea the value. Hopefully you can determine exactly what it is from the pictures. I LOVE offers and will consider all offers because I'm unsure of value.
