Antique Victorian St. Valentine's Mechanical Fan - $275 - (Moville, IA)

This fan opens to 17 inches across. Each blade is 9 1/2 inches long. There is a string on the back of the middle blade so you can display the fan. The strings and tassels look to be original, but the satin ribbon woven through the blades may have been replaced. In addition to the bright red embossed poppies, are countryside scenes with windmills on all of the blades. One of a kind.
