Constructed of patterned mahogany with brass hardware. Features include tilt back, rising, falling and tilt front with brass locks, double extension with double rack and pinion focusing on a ground glass screen, reversible back, brass tripod turntable. Size when folded without lens: h 9" , w 9", depth: 4", Light weight: 4 lbs 6 oz. with lens. Maximum draw 17.5 " The lens is a Schulze and Billerbeck Spharostigmat Gorlitz. Focal length is 7 3/4 inches at f6.8. The 12 blade aperture is mint and working smoothly! CONDITION: This camera wood and brass hardware is all original and MUCH BETTER THAN AVERAGE CONDITION with very few signs of age or use and no abuse! a solid camera with excellent polished wood and nice brass. The original leather bellows are solid, fold nicely, and are light tight! Thornton and Pickard shutter is working nicely! This is an early version (1900?) with non-capping shutter!: slit size is not adjustable. Curtains are solid. The ground glass is excellent! The brass lens is clear and clean! Moving mechanisms are smooth and operational! An original double plate holder is included! Tripod is included (may not be original but is a good fit)!
