Vintage Hand Painted Noritake Nippon Morimura Bros. Moriage Vase - $575 - (Fort Collins, CO)

VintageNippon Vase Morimura Bros.c. 1911-1921 This is a beautiful hand painted Nippon Moriage decorated scenic double branch handled vase. The scenic meadow is painted in soft pastel colors and a large tree in the foreground with raised moriage decor.Two sculpted branch-like handles with heavy raised moriage. Gold trim with black moriage details finish the top and bottom edges of this vase.The heavy raised moriage detail throughout this vase is simply gorgeous. The vase measures 7" tall x 6" wide ( including handles). The base is marked Hand Painted Nippon with green wreath with M in the middle #47. The M in the wreath stands for Morimura Bros. (importers). Mark used from 1911-1921. This mark is found in green, blue, magenta, and gold. The Moriage decor and paint are in excellent condition for it's age.No chips, cracks or restoration on this vase.
