This is an awesome Larrivee D-09 in beautiful Quilted Maple, with a beautiful spruce top. The Larrivee dreadnaught is a superb instrument, and the quilting in the maple on this guitar is amazing! Quilted maple has a great, crisp tone, and good low end response. I love the look and tone of quilted maple, and these maple editions have some of the most beautiful figuring I have ever seen on a maple guitar. It is very powerful, but with more balance than most dreadnaughts. It still has a great low end, but the Larrivee symmetric X bracing makes all of the notes ring true, giving more versatility and balance to the guitar.
