Vintage 1972 Hot Pots of Yellowstone Kitchens Cookbook by Ranger wives - $25 - (Columbia, CA)
Although I know it is not politically correct to say that this cookbook was put together by the Ranger staff wives, it nevertheless was, well, that's the way things were done then. Recipes by Patti Townsend was wife of Supt. Townsend, a famous figure in Yellowstone history. Also Bunny Nuss was wife of Ranger Dale Nuss, Mrs. Robert L. Boyd, Nancy Everhardt, and many others. This was put together to celebrate the National Parks Centennial in 1972 by the Yellowstone Guild of the Yellowstone National Park Chapel. I have had this for many years, since I worked there in the 70's. the recipes are really funny actually, in the winter there getting anything fresh was nearly impossible, but now there are daily runs by the snowcoaches, who knows maybe even by drones. Anyway, the cookbook is clean and free of any marks tears or smells. From a smoke free pet free home will ship USPS to US only.
