Published: American Chicle Co., Louisville, KY, ca. 1900. 12 pp. Hardcover in original printed boards with Confederate flag in color on front board, tipped in to the outlines with biographical information are 141 photographs of Confederate worthies and an image of the Jefferson Davis Memorial. Rare to find with ALL of the tip-ins present and bright. Issued by the American Chicle Co. (Chiclets Gum), this featured Jefferson Davis, Cabinet members, Generals, Admirals & the CSA flag. This album was sent for $.15 plus 10-"Kis-Me" gum wraps. First noticed in Confederate Veteran January 1915, v.23, #1, p.2: "140 portraits will be sent on receipt of $.25 & 25 Kis-Me Gum wraps."
