Large authentic antique Chinese 18th century rattan opium day bed, red varnish - $3,350 - (Champaign, IL)

An over-sized, beautifully proportioned day or opium bed, suitable for use as a coffee or center table. Subtle, low relief carved key fret pattern and horse hoof legs complete a fine and elegant example of classical Chinese furniture. Dates to around the late 18th century, I believe. Very heavy and sturdy. Dimensions approx. 41" x 89" x 20".
