Antique Chinese Yixing Plate Boy Riding Buffalo Ox 19th Century c1810 Not Teapot. This is an antique Chinese Yixing clay plate from the early 1800's depicting a boy riding an ox by a stream with mountain peaks in the background. The back is marked 1810, which I believe was written by the previous owner. I purchased it from their estate, they collected Chinese antiques and had a high quality collection. I believe it is 19th century and circa 1810 seems correct to me. The plate is very detailed and beautifully made. The plate is in great condition, please see photos. Measures 26 cm - 10 1/4" across, and 3.5 cm - 1 3/16" tall.
