The textile is not backed but the edges have been folded back and there are adhesive and textile remnants adhering from a prior backing, The bottom border has a slight separate evident and there is some wear to the gold-couched thread which can be seen under magnification. Based on the original document attached, this badge was previously collected by the Petrie-Rogers Galley Asian Fine Art and Antiques, It was carefully framed and protected using conservation and UV light blocking glass by Radecki Galleries Inc.
