100 % Wool Capote Lined Small - $140 - (North Bend, OR)
This is a hand made 100% wool jacket lined with soft polyester lining. The Capote is made from 100 % wool army blankets fashioned then with the lining. Please see pictures as this is the Capote you are getting. The measurements are Small 32 which runs a tad big. Actual measurement are as follows From Center of neck to bottom of cape 41 Inches, From center of neck to shoulder 9 inches, and from center of neck to end of sleeve 23 inches. Great warm jacket for any outdoor event! There are other similar lined Capote's for sale but they are not 100% wool and not as high quality as this one. All edges have been surged/sewn so edges do not fray. Sleeves, hood, and Shoulder cape have been double hand stitched with durable heavy duty string/threads. All other sewing is done with heavy duty thread to hold up against rugged use. Although the listing shows pre owned it is newly assembled with new lining but the blankets used were retro army blankets made of 100 % wool. If you are looking for a very warm Capote this is a great opportunity to have one at a great price as these blankets cost less then the Hudson Bay blankets or other "point" wool jackets. Most of the cost in Capote's are in the blanket themselves and this is a great opportunity to get a warm jacket as a great value. You just do not understand "WARM" until you put one of these jackets on. Incredible warmth like no other jacket can provide! They flat out stop the cold!
