1974 Knabe 5'1" Baby Grand Piano, Bench & Custom made Quilted Cover - $5,000 - (Cedar Falls, IA)
1974, 5'1" Walnut, Knabe Baby Grand. Serial# 1843888. Fully restored in 1997-1998 by Lindebald Piano Restoration of Fairfield, New Jersey. As described at time of restoration:- New copper wound International Series bass strings were installed and the action meticulously reconditioned, regulated, voiced, and tuned at A-440. The damper. pedal, and trap system were intricately adjusted. It has a solid spruce soundboard that is in mint condition. The bridges are made of solid maple. The pinblock is made out of a multi-layer of rock maple. It was also refinished in a hand rubbed close-pore lacquer finish. Piano, recently valued between $7000 and $8000, comes with piano stool and it's own custom made, quilted cover for extra protection when not in use.
