This stone is a dead ringer for much more expensive fine color blue Sapphire. Medium tone with lots of life. No visible color zoning facing up, which Kyanite is noted for. Slightly included facing up in hand. You really have to look & angle the stone to see the one visble inclusion. This does not marr the beauty of the stone at all. Fairly well cut for a Kyanite, which is famous as one of the worse cut stones in the colored gemstone industry, this stone has no window. A beautiful Kyanite at a nice price!
