Antique c.1820-40 Walnut Rope Bed Pennsylvania Nice Details & Condition - $165 - (Plymouth Meeting, PA)

A fine antique, heavy Walnut Rope Bed from the Isaac Coates, circa 1779 Historic Stone House, Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The bed is finely detailed, with turned legs, shaped headboard and footboard with applied decoration. The bed, a hard to find single, is in very good condition, as can be seen in the photos, and measures: Headboard 41 1/2" h x 42" w; Footboard 20 1/2" h x 42" w; Rails 71 1/2" l. The bed has original bolts for attaching the rails, which can be seen in a photo, and the rails and posts are marked with Roman Numerals for correct placement.
