Adoptable Horse - $400 - (Charleston, WV)

Peanut is an eleven year old TWH mare. She is broke to ride. Peanut is accepts a rider without a problem but needs work on guiding and consistency. Her previous owners did not ride her often so although she has been ridden some in the past she is rusty and in need of additional training. They also reported to us that she has bucked in the past. She was pushy on the ground when she came to West Virginia Horse Network in January 2017 but has shown that she is a quick and willing learner and is doing excellent with groundwork. We won't fully assess her skills undersaddle until she is trimmed by our farrier (which will be soon). Please monitor for updates on this mare. She is very wonderful, charming and gorgeous. She is extremely kind natured and really just needs manners. She'd do fine with an intermediate type home willing to help her along.
