Ludlum 14C Geiger counter survey meter radiation detector w/44-7 abyx probe - $295 - (St. John, KS)

Nice and clean Ludlum 14C survey meter. Has Ludlum 44-7 probe that detects Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-Ray emissions. Pictures show its condition and it detecting an old Radium clock dial. Battery compartment is clean and has no corrosion. Uses 2 "D" batteries (not included). It also has an internal Geiger tube that works in the X1000 range for higher radioactive Gamma sources. The other ranges work with the external 44-7 probe. This unit also has adjustable HV which I tested. The adjustment pot is located on the internal probe board (picture 4) and is a small square orange looking pot. I set it for 870 volts. Background reading in my shop showed 30 to 50 cpm. Will ship in medium flat-rate USPS box for 3 to 4 day delivery. I usually ship same day provided the Post Office is open at the time it is purchased.
