H. ALCOCK & CO "KENILWORTH" PLATTER TRANSFERWARE AESTHETIC MOVEMENT ENGLAND - $38 - (Mancos, CO)
Up for bid is a Nice Large Antique Platter "Kenilworth", made by H.Alcock & Co, in Cobridge, England. From the research that I have done online these were made in the mid to late 1800's during the "Aesthetic Movement". Please see pics of the bottom of the platter for details about the company. Also, on the bottom corner there is an indented stamp that shows BP and several numbers which are difficult to see fully. It is an antique and not perfect. I tried my best to capture the imperfections which have occurred over time. There aren't any cracks, restoration and the colors look good. However, there is wear from use over time.Please do zoom in on all pics before bidding and if you need more pics let me know. It is 13.25" long x 10" wide and it weighs 3 pounds and 2 ounces. Thanks!
