A lovely Hanoverian Georgian rat-tail sterling silver tablespoon made by Edward Bennett of London in 1728. The marks are all well struck, with the date letter N for 1728, and the owner's initial is engraved to the handle. This spoon has a pronounced ridge to the handle, characteristic of spoons of the period. L: 7 7/8in/20cm; W: 48g.
