Tillandsia ionantha ‘Guatemala Select’ is probably the most common Tillandsia in the world. In general, they are considered slow growers. Being a bromeliad, they will form clumps consisting of the mother plant surrounded by “pups”, or younger plants that grow off of the mother plant for reproduction.
