Disney A book published in 2008 to accompany the documentary film Morning Light, which follows the selection and training of young sailors on the 2007 Transpacific Yacht Race. The film was produced by Roy E. Disney and his new wife, Leslie DeMeuse. Both have signed the book on the title page. Disney has included a brief inscription to the former owners. Roy E. Disney, nephew of Walt Disney, was a long-time senior executive of the Disney Company. He was probably best-known for spearheading the movement to oust top executives Roy Miller and Michael Eisner. Disney was also an accomplished sailor and held several world speed records. He met DeMeuse, an Emmy-winning filmmaker, while working together on the film; Disney left his wife of 52 years to marry her. This hardcover first printing is in excellent shape. The jacket is clean and sharp, with minimal handling; the book itself is like new. This is the only signed copy available anywhere online, and both Disney's and DeMeuse's signatures are extremely uncommon. Measures 10.75" X 10.75", 128 pages, color photos throughout.
