CLARK GABLE Original Signed CHECK Autograph 1946 (Gone With the Wind) PSA/DNA - $350 - (Rochester, NY)
After over a decade of collecting autographs of my favorite classic stars, I’ve decided to part with a few of them here and there—five this week. Now that I am in graduate school and living in a rather small studio apartment for the time being, I find that I would like to be a little more selective about what I intend to keep and collect in the future. Such special items shouldn’t be sitting in my albums tucked away in storage when other fans could be enjoying and displaying them proudly, as intended. This particular auction is for my CLARK GABLE signed check from 1946. It was originally in a hard plastic case, but, perhaps to discourage myself from selling it, I removed the casing a few years ago. It still has the original PSA/DNA sticker on the back, and I kept the PSA/DNA identification barcode cutout, but I’m not sure if they would prove to be much use anymore, since they aren’t encapsulated within the original case.
