1920s- 40s? VINTAGE MESH HANDBAG with ART DECO flowers and design - $118 - (Eatonton, GA)
VINTAGE - BEAUTIFUL MESH HANDBAG Art Deco features in frame and in mesh design. 1920-ish or so. Total size is 5" x 7" which includes the bottom chevron - Very period! Frame features flowers within repeating art deco design as well. Clasp works perfectly and would be a great additional to a collection or accessory for a bride or special event. I cannot find a manufacturer's stamp. Great condition. Handle Chain is intact. You will notice in two of the pictures that the mesh is not attached all the way down the side of the metal frame at the hinge, but that doesn't hurt the functionality. I don't know if this was my mother's or my grandmother's!? Has been in our family for years and hate to see it go! WILL PACK IT CAREFULLY, AND SEND INSURED IN A USPS FLAT RATE BOX!
