Original 1940's Use Gulf Tires Soda Lighted Telechron Advertising Clock Sign - $795 - (Marietta, OH)

This is a very hard to find telechron lighted clock, the reason I have dated it as 1940's is that I believe these were created during and right after WWII due to the construction of the cans being a composite material instead of metal. The glass face is original as well, and these are my favorite type as they are a backed on type, almost like an enamel or ceramic, while I am not certain these are definitely more durable than the Pam clocks that tend to flake. In the picture one of the bulbs is burnt out, both sockets work though. It keeps pretty good time, I checked it with my iPhone for 60 seconds and it seems pretty accurate. It also runs pretty quiet, while I cannot guarantee it to be quiet since these old clocks are unpredictable I wanted to mention that it has always been quiet, in my opinion, as long as I have had it. The power cord appears to have been replaced at some point to a more heavy duty wire and plug, which in my opinion is a good thing.  Take a look at all the pictures as they are a part of the description.
