Perko Marine, Lamp & Howe Corporation, Brooklyn Red and Blue Lights, Single Wick Burner. Brass and Galvanized Tin Manufactured by the famous Perko Marine Lamp & Howe Corporation, Brooklyn, NY. Dimensions: each is 13" high x 5" wide . Single Wick Burner in each lantern.Weight: 3 lbs each.Galvanized tin with brass top, maker mark badge, and burner in each lantern. The lights consist of a starboard blue fresnel lens and a port red fresnel lens. These lamps would have been mounted on either side of the ship, red on the left or port and blue or green on the right or starboard. The single wick burner puts out a substantial amount of illumination making these excellent navigation tools for use on river and coastal vessels.
