Dusty is a well broke, very experienced trail horse. He has been extensively trail ridden and overnight camped all over southern Indiana and at Shawnee. He is not your plod along kick and pull trail horse. He is a sensitive horse that rides off seat, legs, and a light hand. He knows his leads, has great ground manners, stands for mounting, self loads unloads, backs or sidepasses through obstacles, and will go through or over anything you point him at. He can do flying lead changes, spins, and sliding stops, but would need work on those to be show worthy quality. He is used to all kinds of road traffic, farm critters and equipment, barking dogs, gunfire, 4 wheelers, wildlife, etc. I have also used him to drag limbs and pony colts. He rides the same alone or in a group is not buddy sour or barn sour. Dusty is fit, sound, healthy, and has always been UTD on all veterinarian and farrier work since I got him as a yearling. He can ride 6 8 hours a day 3 days straight and still have plenty to give.
