Whistler WS 1040 Handheld Digital Scanner - $225 - (Willis, TX)

This is a pre owned Whistler WS 1040 Handheld Scanner. We had this for almost 1 month. We bought it to monitor our county law enforcement however our county is on the P25 Phase II system. This scanner does not pick up P25 Phase II.It comes with the box, manual, power adapter, 2 battery holders and the PC/IF cable (for programming thru your computer). Everything that came with the radio is included.This scanner is in great condition but may have small fine scratches from use. See last photo. Runs on 4 "AA" batteries NOT INCLUDED. You may use either rechargeable batteries or disposable batteries. There is a separate battery holder for each type. Also it should be noted that this radio does not fully recharge the batteries when plugged in but maintains them at a certain level. This is the way the radio was made and we only learned about this thru a scanning forum. Please do your research on both the radio and to see if you will be able to monitor what ever it is you want to monitor. This is being sold as is without refunds. It is your responsibility to insure this scanner is right for your needs. I may be able to pre program some frequencies into the scanner for you. I use Radio Reference and program thru the computer.
