Late 19th Century Oil On Board Landscape, by Adam Edwin Proctor R.I., R.B.A. Small 10" x 7" (15.5" X 13.5" Framed) Oil on Winsor and Newton Prepared Millboard painting by well respected artist Adam Edwin Proctor, R.I., R.B.A. (British 1864-1913) According to Adam Edwins Proctor's grandson the location is "The heath near Farley Green, above Shere in Surrey. He lived nearby. The North Downs are probably the line of hills in the background." Fresh full conservation/re-varnish etc... this painting is good for another 100+ years What a great painting! Proctor(indistinct) Signed verso Adam Edwin Label remnant with 'Paddington' Adam Edwin Proctor: A landscape & genre painter in oil & watercolour who studied at the Lambeth & Westminster Schools of Art & at Langham Life Classes.
