The costume includes a pleated floral skirt, black apron, jacket, and embroidered bonnet. The skirt is made from printed floral fabric and finely pleated with ribbon and lace around the bottom. The apron is made from black satin fabric and trimmed with floral ribbon. The beautifully tailored jacket is made from a heavyweight purple and plum checkered fabric with floral trim, lace, and embroidery. Such jackets are rare elements from this village and were always one of the most prized elements of the local costume. The bonnet is beautifully decorated with hand embroidery and handmade bobbin lace trim along the front. There are floral ribbons sewn on the back. The costume is in very good condition with only some minor age-related spotting and light signs of wear.
