These are fastened to the roll with a straight pin (such as used in sewing). Box is in very poor condition. Both ends of the lid are off, though one is still inside the box, while the box is comparatively solid. End caps are black plastic or bakelite, in good condition. They are marked: V. M. CO. CTN 0 Unfortunately, I don't have a player piano and only unrolled this as far as shown in the pictures. Since these are difficult to handle by hand, I am very reluctant to unroll this.
