Lot of 13 antique and vintage sewing Thimble some engraved and some sterling - $60 - (Berlin, NH)
Description This sale is for this lot of 13 miscellaneous old and collectible sewing thimbles as purchased from various estate sales.I believe a few items are sterling silver and some have fancy embossing on them, . I am no expert on the items.All in all I believe most items in fair to very good condition as far as I can tell .will give a description as shown in order the pics wear taken (1) I believe is the oldest one and does have condition issues with a small pin hole on the top,it has darkened with age and somes moderate wear but does have a fancy engraving with light house and sailboat etc sterling 9 (2) stamped #7 L.M.C. and sterling some surface wear and 3 small pin holes in the sides. (3) marked CHS UsA with a trademark on the inside top ,has a fancy embossed design seems in decent shape average wear (4) star mark on inside top No 9 (average wear (5)smaller size with no marking ,(light wear (6) #8 stamped on outside and small trade marking inside that I could'nt read(light wear scratched (7)stamped #7 outside light wear (8)stamped #8 on outside and looks shinier and newer that the rest (9)stamped #8 Germany on outside and looks shinier and newer that the rest (10) small brass with embossed #3 and "love " bent out of round some (11) stamped # 1 bent out of round some (12) stamped #10 small pin holes on top bent out of round some wear and scratching (13) stamped # 2 Made in England ,bent out of round at the base , Please view pics and Feel free to email questions or ask for more pics or details on certain things.I will answer the best I can .The Lot of old sewing items sold "as is" .Thanks for looking.
