Vintage G. LeBlanc Paris Cornet 3804 W/case & Mouthpiece France Trumpet Music - $375 - (Mount Airy, NC)

Vintage LeBlanc Paris Cornet This auction is for a vintage LeBlanc Paris Cornet. The cornet itself is in good used condition, and was made in France.  Took to a music store where they said it was in good condition other than needing a good cleaning and oiling. Finish has some discoloration and there is 1 small ding. Pictures can show some of the wear.  The case is in used condition with inside wear and a little outside, as can be expected for it's age. Most wear can be seen in photos.  Cornet includes a mouthpiece (will need polished).  Please see all photos for more details. This was bought at an Estate sale and I don't know a lot about the item. **Here is an email I received, I'm not saying everything is correct but this was what he said about the horn*** This is a fifties vintage cornet made by a french company named Courtois. They no longer make brass instruments. This is a Courtois Brevette Bflat Cornet made for for Leblanc. Courtois made Al Hirts horn. They are pretty popular because they were handmade and Courtois had a very good reputation for making good brass instruments. This is a medium large bore .453. (i know cause i own one).
