Highlands Motoring Festival - N.A. - (Highlands, NC)
Tenth annual charity event featuring classic cars, high in the mountains of western NC. The town of Highlands is surrounded by fantastic roads, waterfalls, mountain views, beautiful scenery. Spanning 4 days, the event includes social and driving events leading up to the Saturday car show. To honor this year’s featured marque, “the Cars of Italy”, a Monte Carlo Night will be held as the opening activity on Thursday night, June 8, 2017. Friday’s “One Lap of the Mountains”, a full day driving event, will explore the back roads to the north with lunch at Mt. Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Park. Saturday’s car show will be held in Pine Street Park. There will be an eclectic field of pre-1990 cars which are judged in 8 classes. Following the car show at 4PM, there will be “Music on the Park” with live music in a festival setting. The final activity will be a gathering of cars, “Cars and Coffee on Main Street”.
