Very nice pair of Altec 1570B tube power amps, 156 watts each. The 1570B is the most powerful tube amp in the Altec line of theater amps. Tube compliment is 1ea. 12AX7 driver tube, 1ea. 6SN7 phase splitter, 2ea. EL34 to drive the pair of 811A triode output tubes. Each amp also uses 4ea. 5R4GY rectifier tubes. Amps come supplied with all new tubes plus an extra set of 811A power tubes. Sylvania NOS 12AX7 & 5R4GY, new J/J EL34, GE 6SN7, Svetlana 811A. These amps have had a full parts upgrade, all new power supply electrolytic caps, Russian K40 paper-in-oil coupling caps, new precision wire-wound resistors in the signal path & power supply. New gold speaker binding posts & RCA input jacks, amps are plug & play. Amps have been upgraded to use EL34's instead of 6V6's to drive the 811A's. These amps work perfectly & sound awesome, beautiful midrange & lots of punch.
