WILKINS 1912 FIRE WAGON STEAM PUMPER-3 GALLOPING HORSE PULL TOY - $700 - (Plainfield, IN)

Made by Wilkins approx. 1915. Before name change to Kingsbury. 18 Inch long. 3 Horses- two outside horses gallop as pulled. works. Has all chains + pull chain- "only missing bell wire to wheel". In 1955, my grandfather let me look at it then "back in the box" Air chamber and pump cylinder made of wood. Horses are fine cast iron and wagon is tin. all colors are original- I wiped dirt off wheels, but not cleaning any part, hope pictures not too fuzzy. This toy listed in several toy history books. Driver even has little spreader bar for reins. Thanks for looking. Some collectors tell me price $1200 about right. Want someone to enjoy- I'm in the 70's
