Sansui AU 717 Amplifier - $600 - (Shallotte, NC)

Vintage Sansui AU 717 Amplifier and service manual. I cleaned and re-capped this amp a couple of years ago. I adjusted the bias and speaker voltage, played it and stored it away. I need to sell it to make room for my other toys. I plugged it in today and it won't come out of protection mode. Reset bias to specs but it did no good. If you buy, be aware that it is not working, it is still in protection mode. New caps including the power caps and many new transistors. Board was cleaned of glue and all pots were cleaned. If you are handy with troubleshooting and repair, this will make a nice amp for you. I'm keeping the matching TU 717. There is a bit of case rash but no major cosmetic problems. Included is the service manual.
